Book Stuffers

There is so much negativity around for KINDLE UNLIMITED, seriously out there some of you AUTHORS, would never have been DISCOVERED with out it, I have it, do I abuse the system no, I pay £9.99 a month for the privileged of having it, that is a £120 pounds a year do I get that back in books I read no because I also buy a lot but it helps me discover new authors,or try a new genre, do I use it for all my books hell no, You can only have up to 10 books at a time, and I have never been on a time limit. I am sick and tired of the lot of this, every single day since that women Faleena  kick started all this shit with her Trade Mark Crap its been one drama after another, If you don’t put your books on KU good for you will it stop me buying the books NO. In fact one of my favorite authors out there has never been on it. These book stuffers are making every thing bad, How dare you rip off not only the readers the but to claim NUMBER 1 `spot on a list with a book that is only 10% OF THE STORY THE REST IS YOUR PAST BOOKS !!!!!!!!!! The industry needs to sort it self out, before I and others like me start ditching the authors that keep moaning about it. We as readers feel like we are nothing and yet in reality we are EVERYTHING, because without us readers, You wouldn’t have a career. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took this from Kat Kenyon from Facebook to explain why it matters that these so called authors are robbing the system on KU

The question has been asked, and I’m going to post my answer here as well. Why should readers, EVEN THOSE WITHOUT KU care about stuffers?Well, I’ll leave it to the currently published authors to explain the pool, but trust me- it’s fucked. But as a reader, here’s why I hate it…

1. They recycle books and not tell you what’s in there so you can’t tell what you’ve bought from what you haven’t, which means you buy a book again, one you already have. But of course that’s the whole point. That’s why they flip the content the way they do- to confuse the system and the readers.

2. Stuffing has warped the lists so it’s impossible to find real books. I’m sorry but these stuffers are NOT producing the real books people are seeking out and reading and yet they’re topping lists, making it harder to find the books people are interested in, and hurting the authors I care about. The lists have been destroyed by stuffers.

2.5. Related to this, many if not most of these stuffers mis-categorize their books to gain visibility- further wrecking the lists. Just go take a look at the sports romance list. It’s maddening as a reader. You CAN’T find what you’re looking for because of scammers who, on a level playing field, are simply too weak to compete… so they cheat.

3. The stuffing and miscategorizing are destroying the also buys. The algorithms are stupid. And they’re wrecking them with these games. These are tools in the system I use to find my next purchases and the cheats are taking them away from me.

Real book compilations, real anthologies compete on a level playing field in their real category, on the strength of the advertised stories within. That’s not what these do. These are designed to strip the tools of Amazon out of the hands of average reader and make them money-making machines for people too weak to compete on the quality of the writing and marketing of the presented work. I’ve lost great authors and stories because of them. I spend far more time sifting through them to find quality stories because of them- or can’t find them at all. And even good authors have shifted to this, leaving me the option of returning a book (which I despise) or be out money for a book I already have.

The stuffers are shit. The category cheats are shit. They are pathetic people who are too weak to compete on the merit of their product. And they hurt us all.

These book stuffers need to be banned from KU. they are milking the system, so that true authentic books are loosing reviews and loss of earnings. and most importantly we as readers are been robbed, How dare they treat the readers this way, with our hard earned pennies take the time to buy their books.

I love reading I have limited money so it is important that these so called authors are stopped for ever, One author in particular has been known to pay for reviews, they can afford luxury advertising because they are raking in the money, while hard working new and old authors are getting lost in the system.
