I am a bona fide book junkie, who is always seeking something new to tick my boxes of happily-ever-afters, whether it be action packed Alpha dominated heroes or Cowboys on the range even Alien Alpha's, a kick ass heroine is a must. My first memory of a truly happy and contented moment was curled up in my bed with a good book. My reading tastes are vast and obviously have changed over the years and become a lot riskier and definitely more spicier, my love of books has not only grown but grown to an obsession. My one click finger needs therapy.

These days, my ideal book, makes ones heart race, one sighs with pleasure, it takes ones breath away, makes you grit your teeth, makes you laugh, your heart melts, mouths water at the new book boyfriends, takes you away to far off magical places, beyond the stars, across the seas, travels back in time, scares the pants of you, allows the impossible to be possible. Makes you read for several chapters with a big silly grin on ones face, lifts one up in times of sorrow. Makes you cry ugly sobbing tears. The intense heart ache and then equally heart warming, making you feel the characters’ emotions as though they were our own, keeps you up reading through the night until the sun rises, has a happy ending, and then stays with you after you’ve done reading. They are mind f**ks, inspirational. Above all worth my time and money. I dislike cliffhangers and will almost always refuse to read books that have them if the sequel isn’t already out. I also hate with a passion those who split one book into several, very small novellas, they are wasting my time, not to mention the expense. Enjoy and come back.Nothing compares to a well-written novel, preferably one with strong characters, a whole lot of sizzle between them, and of course the angst. I love authors that push the boundaries of accessibility step out side the box and run with it, they believe whole heartedly what they are doing and doing so free the reader to an endless world of possibilities.
Book reviewing for me became an almost necessity more than anything else. I live in a male dominated household and wanted desperately to talk about what I had read, so my blogging life began. Now, I get to not only read and write about them but also have discovered a treasure chest of others like me and the jewels in my crown the authors them selves have now become social friends
I am highly opinionated, and will voice my displeasure when necessary. I do not like to write negativity about any book but sometimes it is necessary. If it is not a book I have enjoyed, I generally shy away from giving a review unless I feel it is earned, Nearly all books reviewed on this site I have bought my self. If by some chance I have done an ARC I will state clearly that I have done.
