Review Rating Scale
This is my own very personal Rating Scale and it should be taken as such… I have a few lists when it comes to my books, Present , TBR , Revisited and Keep if it ends up in the keep pile it's usually a 5 star book
===============================================================================
How do I rate the books?
I rate all books on a 5 star scale. These will always be my honest reviews. My rating scale is as follows:
5 Stars: I Absolutely loved it! I could not put the book down. Don’t ever try to pull me away from this book or interrupt my reading unless you are dying or bleeding. I usually go on a mad woman hunt for more from this author or if it's a debut I haunt the writers social status waiting for the next one. as well as convincing every one I know to buy this book. Just so I can talk to someone about it. !!!
4 Stars: I really liked it. I had a hard time putting it down. I would also still read any back books and/or future books by the author. I would recommend the book.
3 Stars: I liked it. It was an easy read. I would still recommend it.
2 Stars: It was okay. It is still a good book, may have had a few quibbles. More than likely it just didn't hit my buttons. I usually don't write reviews for lower than 3 there are exceptions of course.
1 Star: Just not for me. I couldn’t get into the story and had a hard time trying to finish it. Usually because of very poor editing, or the story is just not happening, this is a rare occurrence.
'DNF' Very Very Very rare does this happen

What is my review policy?
Normally, I try to have all reviews done and submitted within a week to 1 month of receiving a book, unless, there is a specific date that I needs to have the review done by.
All reviews will be added to Amazon, Goodreads, my blog, Twitter, and my Facebook page. If the book is from NetGalley, my review will be posted there as well. The ones from Netgalley are the only ARC reads I do for now. This might change once I get into the flow of reading reviewing and posting.
If there is a book that you would like for me to review please email me first with information and a short synopsis.
What kinds of books will I read and review?:
I only read fiction books at this time. This is an escape for me and being drawn into the fantasy is what gives me pleasure. I love the impossible becoming possible.
Will I accept books from Indie Authors?

The following are genres that I enjoy:

My Brand of Book Reviewing
You will notice over this site that my reading genres are vast, the vast majority of the books that I review are rated 4 stars or higher. My general rule of thought is if you have nothing nice to say, you should say nothing at all, and I see book reviewing in a similar way. Whenever I find myself needing to re-evaluate the way I do things, I remind myself that just as I would not be personally interested in following a particular TV Show, my tastes may change or I grow bored of a particular theme. I see Book Reviews no differently. I respect the writer above all else, as stated before I am a reader not a writer. However I am a very fast reader. I am also picky.
Having said that, not all the books I read are 4- or 5-star reads for me. I am extremely hard to please, and even though I have become better skilled at selecting books that I would most likely end up loving, 3 out of the 5 books I’d read on an average week still end up not being reviewed, or abandoned half way through for one reason or another. Now, this is not to say in any shape or form that those books are “bad” books or that other readers would not enjoy them. I am simply saying that me as a reader did not connect with them. Why do I not review all the books I end up finishing? Are they not worthy of a review? Last year alone I read 450 BOOKS !! To write a review for each and every one would be time consuming and not very practical, so I tend to review the ones from the present and occasionally slip in a review from the revisited and TBR pile.

Advance Reading Copies
I sometimes receive Advance Reading Copies (ARC) of books for review prior to the publication date, either from the publisher or from the author. This is something relatively knew for me, I have bought every single book I have reviewed to date, but as I grow hopefully that may change at this moment in time, I have a few ARC'S from NetGalley and Booksprout, these books I have chosen my self . If things change I will amend as and when, I want to give my complete and honest opinion and I do believe that sometimes reviewers are not as truthful, and its a niggler for me. I feel sometimes the reviews do not reflect the actual book.
MY BLOG - MY OPINION!
My reviews are NOT an open invitation to argue with me. If you don't like what I have to say, so what? Go bitch on your own blog. You're entitled to your opinion, but that doesn't mean "I" have to read it. Just as YOU don't have to read my blog if you don't like what it says. I love what I do, I read, I review, I BLOG. and REPEAT.
