Mind Fuck by Kimber S Dawn Book Review

Updated: Nov 24, 2019

The following story, while it may contain facts and pieces of actual truth, is based fully on fictitious events and the psychotic mind of the author. Tread carefully. She keeps warning you. This time she’s just point blank said it. Be prepared to be MINDF*CKed. Once upon a time I was a little girl who grew up and had all her dreams come true… And I’m sure you’ve heard the whispered question, you know, the one about what happens after the shoe fits? Well, my name is Lexy Dean, and I’m here to tell you. Don’t be mad at me, darling, *winks* For, it was you who wanted, asked, and begged for this MindF*ck. **For MATURE audiences ONLY. This book is NOT for the weak at heart. It is a raw and gritty story about love, loss, and pain. Tread carefully. You’ve been warned—It was written to make you feel, not pacify.**

book-review

I want to start by saying that this is my first book to read from Kimber S. Dawn. It was suggested to me when I told a friend how much I love dark stories. I now would like to state for the record that Kimber totally delivered that and then some. I actually read this story three times to be sure that I didn’t miss anything because there was so much going on. With each read my dislike for Liam Dean and the Jackson Family morphed into contempt and then complete and utter hate, and that is because hate is a big deal in my book and hardly ever used. Lexy Dean is an honest sweetheart and is loyal to a fault. She loves and trusts her husband, Liam Dean, with her whole heart. She bends and molds to everything Liam asks of her. She doesn’t want to jump from rich husband to rich husband like her mother did, she just wants to be everything to her husband Liam. In many ways though, in this regard, she fails. At the beginning of the story Liam Dean seems like an honest true blue loyal husband, when deep down he really is a self-centered control freak that only thinks of himself. Liam shows his true colors the first night in his new home with Lexy. And his new boss, Travis Jackson, is his catalyst…along with his home wrecking baby sister, Summer Jackson. Liam loves control but is so self absorbed that he doesn’t realize until it’s too late, that he lost control way at the beginning. Rhett Bennett…what can I say about this man besides the fact that he rocks the story in the best way, and surely does leave his very own mark that is felt by all involved. I am so excited to talk about this story that I am so afraid to reveal too much. Kimber, I’m down and ready for the next boo
