CowSex, sometimes all you need is a little bit.
What a fabulous book. I’m relative newcomer to the comedy romance was a genre I didn’t read a lot of but slowly changing my opinion with crackers like this. This is the first book I have read from Lesley Jones and I AM NOW a massive fan of her writing, so no hesitation here to any of her books from now on. The slang and Essex glossary in this book just blows you away. As I am English my self I understood everything she said but it was hilarious them trying to understand the very funny and witty Gracie, who had decided to go to Colorado for a six month break away from all her problems in the UK; to have some space to clear her head. Typical Essex girl, full of wit and not afraid to speak her mind, I am in love with Gracie’s character as soon as I started to read the book. Sometimes the way a female is written these days she is either a horrid character or a tart, Gracie was in a word divine. The way she meet Koa is just out iof this world bizarre of situations and even though they don’t get off to the best start, the chemistry and attraction is evident from the off. Koa – OK PERFECT BOOK BOYFRIEND , I have claimed him and he is now mine, I’m totally in love with this man. Handsome, tattooed, and bearded sublime, the push and pull between these two characters is written to perfection. Laughs a minute, hilarious situations that they find themselves in, I love the fact that Gracie knows her mind, a real little spitfire that kept Koa on his toes which I truly enjoyed. Of course it’s not all fun and frolics, they both have pasts to deal with and issue that need addressing and that’s where the little bit of angst comes in to add to the humour. Told in duel POV I love that, infact it has become a core incredient for me now, I want to hear the man’s point of view, It lets us get inside both of their heads to see how they feel and how they deal with the situations that they find themselves in, with secondary characters popping in. I LOVED the book and I can’t recommend it enough. A feelgood romance with lots of laughs, a sprinkle of hot sex and great characters to entertain us – excellent !!!!!!
