If you add two strangers to a cabin, in the middle of a snowstorm, the obvious is bound to happen… CowSex.
When Essex lifestyle blogger and fashionista, Gracie Elliott crash lands into the life of Colorado mountain man Koa Carmichael, fists, chemistry and sexual banter ensue. After the punk rock Tinker Bell and semi-retired country rock star share some sweet, emotional as well as laugh-out-loud moments, they find it impossible to deny that they might have just discovered what neither of them knew they were looking for.
CowSex, sometimes all you need is a little bit.
What an absolutely fantastic book. I’m wasn’t a massive fan of comedy romance but I am slowly been converted. Lesley Jones is a new author to me The slang and Essex glossary in this book just blows you away. So funny and witty we have Gracie who decides to go to Colorado for a six month break away from all her problems in the UK; to have some space to clear her head. Typical Essex girl, full of wit and not afraid to speak her mind, I fell in love with Gracie’s character as soon as I started to read the book. She meets Koa in the most bizarre of situations and even though they don’t get off to the best start, the chemistry and attraction is evident from the off. Koa – OK he is mine, I claimed him and I’m totally in love with this man. Handsome, tattooed, and bearded ( just take a look at that cover – Franggy is PERFECT for this character) the push and pull between these two characters is written to perfection. Laughs a minute, hilarious situations that they find themselves in, Gracie certainly knows her mind, a real little spitfire that keep Koa on his toes which I truly enjoyed. Of course it’s not all fun and frolics, they both have pasts to deal with and issue that need addressing and that’s where the little bit of angst comes in to add to the humour. Told in duel POV I love that we get inside both of their heads to see how they feel and how they deal with the situations that they find themselves in, with secondary characters popping in and out Lesley has done herself proud. I LOVED the book and I can’t recommend it enough. A feelgood romance with lots of laughs, a sprinkle of hot sex and great characters to entertain us – excellent !!!!!!
