---------------------------------------------------------

Kane “Speed” Weston, after leaving the military, returns to Black Hawk MC, the club he grew up in, the only family he has left. With his father’s spot open, he prepares to fill the position. What he finds upon his return, the military nor the MC could have prepared him for. Sami Borelli was raised in an MC. With her father being the president of the club, she’d been referred to as a princess, feeling anything but. Sami moved to Black Hawk territory when her father’s club faced internal problems, turning her into a liability instead of an asset. She met a man at a club party who changed her life, but when she went back, he was gone, only to return years later with no memory of her while she remembered everything about him. The sons of Black Hawk MC are home and ready to take the places within the club they were groomed for. What they were never taught was how to handle losing their hearts.

Well what can I say The blurb was more interesting than the actual story.

The book was okay, I did finish it so I will give it 3 stars.

I liked it but didn't love it, I felt like I was on a high speed train rushing through the book. It was a good story line and I liked the introduction to all the characters obviously for more books. The tale between Sami and Speed went from 0-60, then we had a pit stop and then back in the fast lane. there literally was no story, he took her to bed, he left, he came back. she got pregnant, had said child he found out all together, HEA the end.

I want to get the other books but if they are as short as this one I might avoid them. For an MC they were pretty lame

Here are some of reasons the book didn't give it a higher rating.

1.Their were some rather uncomfortable and very descriptive sex scenes with OW and getting excited while remembering them was quite unnecessary and gross (not a way to help us build a connection with them). We got more of those then we did with the main charters.

2.Anyone who has had kids know that they don't talk how Ally was made out to talk in this book.

3.I also don't like how we were 2 thirds of the way through the book before anything started to happen.

4.How is it described as an MC romance when there was no MC story line.

5.The sheer bossiness of the male lead, was astounding. worse she just jumped when he said so.

6.The declaration of love to someone you only spent one night with 5 years previous.

This could have been a hell of a read if only a little more care and thought had been put into it, we have two MC's we have a host of characters, and for me this book just felt like an introduction to a new MC Series. It hasn't enticed me to want to know anymore if I am truly honest, Which is a shame as I am an MC ADDICT, I have read 1000's of MC books and this one just wasn't for me.
